Birth of character

Hi everyone!

I have this strange idea and I wont to share it with the world. I’m totally new to 2d character animation, but I want to learn it since I was a kid. Yup, I don’t know what I was waiting for so long. So what if I create one character, and bring him to life? He can learn stuff together with me. If I learn how character walk, he learns how to walk etc. I really need your support and help for this project. I plan to post at least once every week till the end of the year and see how character will evolve together with my skills.

Here is my first character. Do you have any idea how we should call him?

With this post I’m attending The Post Every Week challenge, so wish me luck, and type you soon.

Maybe it’s too much disco for gray character? If this idea evolve, I’ll create a few more characters, and one of them can be colorful and be named ElipsO.
      Thanks.

Welcome to Post A Week challenge. I am glad that we have another one join us. You can take a Post a Week banner from here http://bit.ly/dXD6TK and let everyone know that you participate. If you have any question, you can ask me, or you know where to seek answers (the big ones in wordpress)

Also, I wanted to tell you that your animation is very, very cute. I would name it Oscar, or Brian. Don’t ask me why. Melvin is also good. :)

    I wish you luck.
